In the Catholic tradition, the Chandeleur takes place on February 2nd to celebrate the presentation of baby Jesus at the temple, 40 days after Christmas. It is time to put away the nativity scene and other decorations, and celebrate the return of the sun with crepes – of which they are a symbol! For the celebration is ancient, both with the celts and the romans.
We will be making crepes in front of you; the entrance includes crepes and cider. We will also have music and games!
